Serge Espoir Matomba , first secretary of the United Party for Social Renovation (PURS), is a candidate in the presidential election scheduled for October 12, 2025. At 46, this young Cameroonian entrepreneur is proposing an ambitious social project based around ten major axes .
A candidacy driven by youth and commitment
A native of Mbam-et-Inoubou, Serge Espoir Matomba did not become involved in politics by chance. A renowned businessman, he entered politics to change the situation . Faced with poverty, corruption and injustice, he offers a serious and structured alternative.
His project was unveiled during the PURS ordinary congress, held on April 4 and 5, 2025, at the Yaoundé Convention Center. It aims to reconcile Cameroonians around a realistic and unifying program.
